The Long Neck Royal Association was founded to preserve and maintain the canal between Long Neck Blvd and Royal Ave for navigation and the docking of pleasure boats.

Canal Safety

Please go 5 MPH or less entering, leaving and while in the canal.

Please go pass the RED AND GREEN marks before accelerating.

 

Please SLOW DOWN outside the RED and GREEN marks before entering the canal  

Dredging Project
DEC Permit - Expires in 2028

Army Corp of Engineering will expire Dec 2032

​

Town of Southampton - Only required when dredging

Updates

Updates for 2024 Projects

  • Entrance of canal dredged

  • Open discussions to dredge the entire canal

  • Replaced the entrance bulkhead to canal (Thank you Frank)

Two issues are a major concern to the LNRC association:

 

  1. Boat Navigation

  2. Dredging of the entire canal

  3. Boat Safety and Inspections
